She meets with conservatives to hear their side of things.
Apparently there's a belief going around that Biden is
constructing internment camps to imprison Magas.
Believers in this are very afraid.
Anyone else heard of this?
The only thing I've found is...
Excerpted....
EXCLUSIVE: The New York Democratic congressional candidate running against GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik suggested "MAGA" supporters should attend a "re-education camp" after the 2024 election — even if Democrats see a "resounding blue wave."

Paula Collins, who is running against Stefanik, R-N.Y., in New York’s 21st congressional district, made the comments during a public Zoom Townhall this week, where she appeared to admit that "re-education" would be controversial.

Maybe the camps will be needed. Given how many of Trump's associates are criminals, it may turn out that the existing prisons are not enough, once you have a closer look at his supporters.

It’s an election year. Donald Trump and other Republican Party leaders have refused to commit to accepting November’s results. Trump has referred to those who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 as “warriors.”
That's rather scary. They won't accept it unless they win. That in itself is a crisis when the politicians running will not accept the results of a democratic election.
It pains me knowing there is likely to be a very heavily armed military presence guarding the Capitol and many state offices around the country, especially if Trump loses. This is America but we're looking more like a failed third world country with guns and violence such a regular part of American life it's now politics.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
It was a valid question, as your post #7 wasn't an answer to anything. It just hangs there in the air.

The Op definitely provides kind of a clear giveaway of what a conspiracy is, don't you think?

They did not say they would not accept the results of a fair democratic election. Why would anyone say they would accept the results of an election before the election? What if there is fraud? That would be stupid.

There wasn't much fraud going on at all in 2020 but they still believe it was stolen from Trump. They've already rejected one fair and free election and had an insurrection over it.

Yeah, there is no conspiracy mentioned only that certain Republicans seem to think that civics education classes for politicians are equivalent to imprisonment in reeducation camps.

There are some wildly mistaken beliefs here that are being espoused in an attempt to scare people, but nothing resembling a conspiracy unless you are considering the deliberate attempts to misconstrue Ms Collin's statements a conspiracy in which case it is Ms Stefanik's fan club that is conspiring.

What's left out is that every liberal will be outfitted with a bump-stock machine gun and 50,000 rounds. We've got microphones planted everywhere and are compiling lists.

for 240+ years our country has operated on the premise that we are a democracy and the people who operate our elections live up to their obligation to be fair. in very rare instances fraud is found to have occurred, almost always in insignificant amounts and is prosecuted. If found in significant amounts the elections can be reversed or rerun. This is what is expected and that people will assume fairness.
To not assume unfairness without prior reason is to deny the utility of this primary element of democracy.
