FWIW, I suspect that you meant to say something different. Feel free to try again.

I gave you the site. It isn't my fault you didn't read it.

I did read it. It failed. I explained the failure to you. Some of the prophecies were not prophecies.

You also do not seem to understand how to use sites properly. A mere link is not good enough. It is up to you to quote the parts of that site that support your claim. The site that you linked quote mined the Bible. Quote mining is a form of lying. Why would you use an obviously lying source? That only makes you look bad.

I am thankful that you aren't the judge... it is Christ who judges... but if you want "one"... Israel is a nation again.

Matthew 24:1-2: "And Jesus went out, and departed from the Temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the Temple. And Jesus said unto them, "See ye not all these things? Verily I say unto you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” After 1,878 years (70A.D.-1948) the Jewish people returned to Israel and became officially recognized as a Nation on May 14, 1948. Jeremiah 30:3-4: “For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. (4) And these [are] the words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.” Ezekiel 38:8: “After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land [that is] brought back from the sword, [and is] gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.”

Seems pretty clear to me. But then again, we all think differently.

ROFL No... you made a statement... but you failed to prove that it failed. You need to learn how do disprove a prophecy. :D

Why did you cut that prophecy short? Is it because it is another terribly failed prophecy? You obviously do not know the history of the area or of Rome. The Jews were rebellious, Rome often destroyed the sources of rebellion. It was not unreasonable to predict that the temple would be destroyed. So for that reason alone that prophecy fails. But it gets even better. He went on to say:

29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

    “‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ will mourn 31 And he will send his angels is near, right at the door. 34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

That did not happen. In fact that was close to 2,000 years ago. Do you think that any of that generation are still alive today?

The start of the prophecy fails because it was a more than reasonable prediction. The latter part fails because a deadline was given and those events did not happen.

    Do you have another one?

    LOL

    That is another prophecy...

So... is Israel a nation according to what was written?

I think you are just proving again and again my statement "We know that you don't believe and that nothing that we say will change your position" (paraphrased) :D

It's a free world and you can decide there is no gravity too! :D

I explained to you why it failed. Since you gave such a weak attempt in presentation it took only a weak refutation. Why didn't you support your claim properly? Someone who knew that he was right would not act in such a manner.

You appear to know that if you quoted specific "prophecies" that I could show how they merely quote mined the Bible.

You need to work on your debating skills. To paraphrase Hitch: A claim made with a handwave, as yours was, can be refuted with a handwave, as I did.

Nope, same prophecy. All one long one and it failed.

Is your reading comprehension that bad that you cannot understand this?

Once again, the first prophecy could have been predicted by any politically astute Jew of the time.

The second prophecy gave a deadline. That deadline was about 2,000 years ago. Israel is a nation now. It was not one when the last person of that generation died. Let me quote the part of the prophecy that tells us that it failed again:

"34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. "

You are too funny... please be better at disproving prophecy... you haven't done it yet.

Hmmmm.... I noticed your two step and side step... let me get back to what I asked...

Is the prophecy about Israel becoming a nation again fulfilled?

for that matter... when has any other group of people done that after 2000 years?

    :D

    I'm still waiiiiiiiiiiiiting

Of course I have. You have only demonstrated that some Christians can't face up to the facts that the prophecies of the Bible fail.

Tell me which parts you are having trouble understanding? I tried to make it clear to you.

Once again, the last prophecy fails for two reasons:

The first part, which you quoted, was something that any politically astute person, not just Jew, of the time could have predicted. So therefore not a "Biblical prophesy". You demean all Bible prophesy to the level of me predicting that you will see a red car by doing so.

Thou shalt see a Red Car, thus spoke Subduction Zone the Geat:rolleyes:

The second part failed because the deadline is long past. almost 2,000 years past. The prophecy has its own deadline in it. It is not one that I added.

You are ignoring the point that the prophecy had a "best by" date. That "milk" is not even "cheese" that deadline is so old. It is merely desiccated green dust.

The Israel becoming a nation again on it own fails because open ended prophecies of likely events are not unheard of at all. Once again, you make predicting that you will see a red car a biblical prophecy. And that is with ignoring the fact that it failed because it was predicted to occur almost 2,000 years ago

Tell me, is it still the first century AD?

I would say, in this case, you are a great example of a flat-earth mentality no matter what evidence is given :D

Oh my!! There goes another irony meter.

You gave no evidence. The examples given were refuted.

Even you should be able to understand that if I promise to finish a project for you within a week and then show up a year later with a shoddy product that I have failed in my promise.

That is how badly failed that prophecy is.
