Biblical interpretation vs evidence

As to Columbus,

Since we have no interviews in Playboy of Columbus, most scholars have to piece the story together. They suspect that he got his hands on some ancient maps that showed land on the other end of the Atlantic. There was actually very much evidence at that time to show the Earth as being round but of course the Church would pound on anyone disagreeing with its position on the matter.

Fade, Hi. It tis a rumor that they decided that JerryL and Av1611 would become a comedy act.

Ok Jerry,

Have you read about Dunbar Goldfarb who fell off the edge of the Earth in his 1888 expedition in the Antarctic? DO your research!!!
Google comes up blank,

can you provide a link?

Your search - "Dunbar Goldfarb" - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:
- Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
- Try different keywords.
- Try more general keywords.

Oh, old Dunbar... yeah, I knew him. Great guy, but he was always talking about a 'round' Earth... got him into trouble, that idea did.

I would like to see the thread that got AV banned, also.
