Bernie Sanders is Getting a Raw Deal by Some Democrats

Stanyon

WWMRD?
It's pretty sickening to see these sociopaths beat this guy down, not much different than a pack of chimpanzees beating and torturing a perceived weak member of the tribe. Like most of us I like to see the underdog win or at least go down fighting in a blaze of glory with both middle fingers extended. Bernie Sanders has declared war on the democrat establishment and it is a beautiful thing.

remember in 2016 he was also Hillaries target.
In response to your edit,

Sanders only got in to the Democratic primary race because Hillary let him in. He wasn't a Democrat before that, and he trashed Hillary after Democrats decided not to vote for him.

Sanders is why Trump is president. And he can't do anything about it now. He doesn't represent the main views of Democrat voters, all he can do is help reelect Trump.

If Sanders wants any of his policy proposals to get anywhere in Washington he needs to help get someone other than Trump into the White House. But I don't see him as doing that. He'll get his base riled up. Then they'll stay home or vote third party and Trump will be president again. Just like 2016.

Isn't it truly WONDERFUL how members of the Trump party and his minions all spontaneously and with no central source start writing about how terrible Bernie Sanders is being treated.

I applaud the right's dedication to socialism; it's truly inspiring that we're all coming together under the banner.

So welcome, brothers and sisters, to the one true party that is lighting the way to the future where all people will be treated equally by the government as the Founders espoused in the Declaration of Independence.

I suspect it's a deliberate move to try to gain "sympathy support" from Sanders supporters as they appear to say "isn't that a shame" and also more likely just to make the Dems look bad by highlighting their treatment of an outsider. Because outside of that, sources like Fox won't be defending Sanders any foreseeable way.

They mostly want Sanders supporters to stay home in November.

Yes, they're trying to win by nasty tactics. It's totally to be expected because they are without honor and without shame.

The wonder and awe of "all things".
Listening to Sanders, I like Sanders. Who wouldn't, listening for a minute, most times?

If you listen to him, you tend to like him as a person, his demeanor and him saying some true things well.

Also, I think some of his ideas are fine also, but some of the best ideas he has are the same or similar (largely) to those of others like the very good candidate Elizabeth Warren.

Now, Sanders is easier to like just hearing him talk a minute than Warren.

But Warren has certain virtues that you can admire when you get to know her better than just a debate stage.

Also, Warren is likely to be able to bring in good talent without ideology and get things done --

Actually get there, to a better place. For it to actually happen.

There really isn't no reason to.

Trump is doing fine policy-wise.
Warren would be able to accomplish what Trump promised in effect: to make life better for most Americans.

Trump is a great salesman -- he's got that over Warren.

Trump can make it seem as if great things have happened. When they have not yet.

It's sheer unadulterated lust for power. You can see it in their eyes and behaviors.

I like Sanders too. I like his policy proposals. I just don't think he'll accomplish any of them. Because he isn't supported by either party and has no clout in The Swamp.

If Sanders got elected, he'd be spinning his wheels trying to revamp healthcare while the billionaires kept getting their boughten representatives passing legislation helping them loot the USA economy. All of the Republocratic politicians support that.

Or the Demopublicans if you prefer.

But the bottom line is that The Swamp isn't interested in taking care of the country. And nobody will take office if The Swamp prefers that they don't. Bernie does.

The USA doesn't believe in democracy any more. From voter restrictions to the Electoral College to fake news, the elite are better at manipulating the rigged system than the people. So, they'll get what they want and the rest of us won't.
