So, upon reflection, he is rougly the same now and that's a good thing.
- Let's see. He wants to attract industry that pays good wages then and now. So he's the same there.
- He differentiates between "leave me alone" conservatives and "war mongering" conservatives so there's no change there.
- He said "we believe in Democracy". That sounds good to me.
- He was against the totalitarian and authoritarian Soviet Union. That sounds good to me as well and directly applicable to today's authoritarian regimes.
- He's against concentration of wealth in the hands of the very few.
- He's in favor of rebalancing taxes to who can afford to pay. Yes, this is what we need.
- He's in favor of free enterprise, small businesses. So am I!
