It is a euphemism. She is dead and gone forever. Does that make you feel better? Actually when a person dies they live on the only way that they can, in the memories of others. Remembering a person when they die keeps them "alive" in that sense for a bit longer.

I remember when she accused Corey Feldman of "damaging the industry" for coming out about sexual abuse in Hollywood.

There isn't any sexual abuse in Hollywood!!! I got that fact directly from Harvey Weinstein.
