Today at 2:45 EST the Space Shuttle Atlantis (OV-104) blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center, carrying the European Space Agency's (ESA) Columbus lab module to the International Space Station.

Once they arrive on Saturday, Columbus will be attached to the Destiny module as well as delivering a new crew member to the station.
