The "false atheism" is the denial. The denial of all, since "in the beginning - God." (by my memory, Bible). So, until "false atheists" are physically alive, they are not 100 percent "false atheists".

For me it has always been salah from Islam. The ritualistic worship/prayer in Islam is very meditative and structured that for a compulsive person like me it is relaxing and humbling. It really frames your place in the universe and removes the ego and pride of man.

I usually just had sore knees afterward.

Huh.. last time I went to the doctor's for a checkup, they said I was in perfect health so fairly certain I'm "physical alive".
