Awesome. I know most humanists appear to be atheists, agnostics and non-believers. However, obviously, not all atheists and general non-believers share the worldview of humanism.

I don't call myself that. I got a bunch of the definitions, but I tend to think of my worldview and ideologies as being under independent management...ahem...

I don't think humans are particularly rational, so tend to find philosophies that presuppose human rationality to be a bit ludicrous.

Any attempt to define (Secular) Humanism tends to just be a collection of pretty nondescript platitudes anyway.

Other than that, it's basically just a watered down evolution of liberal Protestantism, or at least the heir of a watered down evolution of liberal Protestantism.

It's not an identity I'm committed to, but Sartre argued Existentialism is within the humanist Umbrella, while distancing himself from Comte style humanism which he compared to fascism.

I don't really call myself a humanist but I do agree with a lot of what humanists stand for. I would not be offended by being labeled a humanist.

You could be a hedonist. An nihilist. Lots of choices. Many of them what we're often unfairly accused of being, regardless of what we actually are.

Don't be. I'm atheist, I don't think of myself as humanist, but i do hold with humanistic ideas. I just don't need another label

Likewise. From Wiki: "human beings, whom it considers the starting point for serious moral and philosophical inquiry" is to my mind an example of speciesism which I entirely reject.

The question is not if atheists are humanists. It is how they consider evidence, rational and reality that matters. In a sense what they individaully believe the world to be and how that matters.

Those are two different rationales. "Humanism," or "Secular Humanism," is a stance on the treatment of others, and a basis of values based around human prosperity and equality.
The rationale of how a humanist or atheist considers evidence to come to a conclusion on the basis of what they believe is irrelevant to be a believer of humanism, though most are non-believers or non-religious.
