I'd like to get some theories why Atheism attracts more men than women.

Faith in numbers: Behind the gender difference of nonreligious Americans
Scholars have long noted that atheism skews male. Meanwhile, critics have pointed toward the apparent dominance of male authors in the “new atheism” movement as evidence of a “boys club.” Indeed, a quick scan of the best-selling books on atheism on Amazon indicates that almost all of them are written by male authors.

I don't know, but could this simply be evidence that we are in a society that looks to males as authority figures?
I mean how many of the best selling books on religion are written by women?

Because men are more into science, I guess.
And science pushes you to be more and more rational.
I don't mean to generalize, but that's what I noted during my university years. The percentage of male students in scientific faculties (Engineering, Biology, Medicine) was something like 70% or more. Whereas in humanistic faculties (like law schools) male students were definitely a minority.
This is just my personal opinion, of course.:)
I guess the reasons can be several and can vary from country to country.

One does not need to be a scientist to be "into science." I'm a liberal studies major and very much am into science.

As someone “into science,” you should know the difference between statistical evidence and anecdotal evidence.

Of course. What this article offered was statistical. What I myself offered was anecdotal, for example.

I love science. I am a staunch theist who believes in Evolution. It is just that males tend to be more rational than us, I guess.

How many of the authors on religion are male?

I suspect a "more Christians in US jails than any other other religion" type situation.

Out of curiosity, which sex is more emotional?
If it is females who are the more emotional, does it correlate with the more male atheists?

    Can I be honest?
A lot of the bro “boys club” types might cause some women atheists to not bother with the label at all.
I know I found certain groups toxic and even hostile towards women.
    Just a hypothesis.

But that's simply due to the dominance of Christianity in the US. On the other hand, we have pretty much equal men and women (or slightly more women). How then do we explain that more men are atheists?

You're going to have to give a reason why atheists would be less emotional. I don't see the connection.

What I have read, in regards to Autism, as this gender trend also holds there though those with Autism are more likely to be nones, is that it revolves around the social imagination and empathy, things that women are typically better at.

Atheism is aware of the issue and is trying to address it. There are plenty of female atheists but maybe not as prominent as they should be.
I think in just about every area (apart from the caring ones) there unfortunately is a dominance in male over female - churches and religions are some of the worst at this.
