Is there any spiritual tradition that worshippes the planets only, without a concept of a transcendental God?

There is none that I have heard of, but probably everyone long ago found the planets interesting. There are the Greeks who assigned a planet to some deities.

The ancient Mesopotamians has no concept of a supreme being and they worshiped the planets, along with other gods, of course.

Most Pagans worship the Sun and Moon, but worship of the planets seems less common.

Worshipping the planets is very common among some Indian groups. It all ties in to astrology, as I understand - worshipping this planet for success in such and such an area of life, that kind of thing.

The classic 'astral worship' , in the western tradition, would be Ficino ..... I am not sure he viewed the concept of 'transcendental God' , he was a Christian but he did live in a time where one had to be careful about what one wrote and not cross the line .

Ficino walked right on that line .

" Thus just as humans have a physical body, a divine spirit and a soul as intermediary between them, so does the Universe, being composed of the divine spirit of God, physical matter and the World Soul or Anima Mundi. "
