There is none that I have heard of, but probably everyone long ago found the planets interesting. There are the Greeks who assigned a planet to some deities.
Worshipping the planets is very common among some Indian groups. It all ties in to astrology, as I understand - worshipping this planet for success in such and such an area of life, that kind of thing.
The classic 'astral worship' , in the western tradition, would be Ficino ..... I am not sure he viewed the concept of 'transcendental God' , he was a Christian but he did live in a time where one had to be careful about what one wrote and not cross the line .
Ficino walked right on that line .
