They say that a child can not rightly accuse a religious man. But I say that if a child blames an adult of a sin and he is not believed then the hearer of the complaint is wrongly accusing the child of lying. So they favor the testimony of an adult over that of a child.

A child is upset and the parent finds out why. A mother believes her child. She reports to her elders that someone mistreated her child.
The elders talk to the accused and he admits nothing. He is believed and the child is not believed. That is black and white. .

The elders might keep an eye on the accused but child abuse is almost never done with witnesses.
They might even pay more attention to the parent to see if she or he is guilty of something sinister.
But they think they can't do anything to the accused.

I don't know who the 'they' are you are referencing, but children can rightly accuse anyone including so-called religious people of crimes.

They are the elders in the congregation. A child who accuses anyone is not believed if the adult denies it so it does not turn out right and the child must now suffer not being believed. And the parents also.

Also, the family is thrust into darkness because they will never be told what actions are taken if any.

Another thing I have heard about is the "church" brings the child in to confront the accuser. That is so very ridiculous that it is one more reason I am sure I can't be of Earth.

After all this and the person confesses what does he get? A scolding and probation.

Also, he can be reinstated to a fine upstanding position after awhile if he promises never to do it again. But remember, at first he lied.

True. I kept things to myself cuz I knew no one would believe me.
It occurs a lot with children in my area.

I remember as a Jehovah's Witnesses that a non-witness took my child at a meeting to hold. She went outside with my baby and I followed her out thinking bad thoughts about her. We are taught as JWs that standards must be met before we go house to house, before we can join the school and before we are baptized so it follows that we have to believe that if anyone does those things then they WOULD'T harm a child. But some do.

    are you?

But even more importantly is EVERY case what you claim?
    I know they are not.
your presentation of them is far to generic and generalized.

Yes. I am familiar with some cases and I have heard of many others.
The parents of the children might be blamed because they trusted the abuser. But what they learn at meetings causes trust. It really does.

Our Jehovah's Witness friend on the forum will be so happy you asked!

The link is to the official JW web site.

I was a JW for almost twenty years. I left because an elder told me I had to trust the governing body but I knew these.
Psalms 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save.
Psalms 108:12 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
They teach that to be righteous a person must do good to the faithful and discreet slave which they say is the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses.
They say they are "The Truth".
But I obey the way, the truth, and the life as I can. It is not them. John 14:6

Can you actually post the scripture being debated?

It's very confusing to see a debate in the Scriptural Debate section, with no reference (edit: citing) to the particular scripture being debated.

The fact is that some men (I know of no women) have gotten away with it and have done it again.
