Because it works for me. I agree with the beliefs, because I am a polytheist and an animist. It just clicked for me. It's hard to explain, but I've always felt drawn to it for it's love of nature and the earth. And having a Mother Goddess provides me comfort in ways the Christian God could not.

I had to give up because of arthritis in my hands. I've been thinking of getting an electronic keyboard but worried I will have the same problem or will lose interest after a month.
