That's a good reason for all to stockpile before there's any crisis or panic.
It's cheap enuf for even the poor to do it .
My wife works for the Red Cross, so emergency preparedness is something we already practice. Nothing on the scale of apocalypse survivalist preppers, but along more practical, sensible lines such as for natural disasters like hurricanes, flooding, etc. that might require evacuation or long periods without power. Always have on hand what you might need for a few days to a week; water, non perishable food, batteries, flashlight, first-aid kid, radio, toiletries, etc.
