Been working on this project lately. Took me awhile because of all the gluing, but here it is.

Wasn't my idea(I'm totally not that creative; it came from
), but its been fun either way.

Anyone else been working on anything?

I did woodworking of much Hindu stuff for about 3 years, but had to give it up because of sawdust and lungs. Nice stuff you did.

I've been planning & making landscape changes.
Results take decades. So at my age, I'm using
only fast growing tree species, eg, Norway spruce,
catalpa, redbud. I'm expanding the giant leaf hosta
installations....more of the variegated & blue varieties.
Fortunately I needn't buy anything...just use what pops.
Blue Angel is a favorite.....

I am so jealous, I do so envy people who can create art. I am really am useless at manual crafts, there is not a thing in the house made by my fair hands.

What i can do is 3D digital art using mega amounts of computer and software, I've had just 1 image framed.

And this may be interesting..

This is brilliant! All I have been doing is trying to get into a drawing routine which is failng.

I used to draw a lot... carried my stuff around in a backpack, and when I 'felt' like it, then I could, no matter where I was.

What's failing about the drawing routine now?

I like to see people making this kind of stuff. It's a very human thing to do and it promotes our individual humanity without being selfish. In fact, it's a very generous thing to do, I think, to make something just for other people to experience when and if they feel like it.

Just done this self-portrait. Reckon it's captured my essential character?

I struggle to believe you're that good looking!

What's it made from?

Nice!

I would have gone with a toilet myself, but that's no surprise for any who know me.

Working on this:

I look forward to seeing that! Embroidery is a skill I'd like to learn as well.
