The Constitution states that bribery, treason or other high crimes or misdemeanors must exist for impeachment to be valid.
Bribery and treason are crimes by statute. There are laws on the books defining their standard, and their violation. Other crimes and misdemeanors must be identified by statute, or they are not crimes.
Nowhere in the articles of impeachment is a crime by statute identified. No bribery, no blackmail, no extortion, no robbery, no burglary, no jaywalking, NO CRIME.
The Constitution does not state that the house can make up a crime on the fly that is not grounded in a statute, law, penal code, traffic code, municipal code, or anywhere else.
The articles of impeachment do not include any crimes as having been committed. The three historical sets of articles of impeachment DID identify specific crimes as defined by extant law.

As far as the coup...er' impeachment goes, personally I remain a loyal Trumpee'. This man is made of steel. No mere mortal could withstand all the vitriol and hate he receives 24/7 from bitter nutcases. He takes all that crap and still is accomplishing his 'promise' of 'Making America Great Again!!!!'. Yes he is abrasive, but he is not a Criminal and did no crime in the fabricated Ukraine crap. So God bless him, God our Republic, and pray that Trump wins again.!

I cant stand Trump however in your defense I don;t think Dems will do much better on their candidate, I'm a libertarian who is liberal so I do side with Democrats some.But I will be voting for the Libertarian party. Dems and republicrats-tweedle dee tweedle dum.

Well I did not like Obamas policies, or for that matter I didn't like the man either. Double ditto for the socialists and progressives in the top five running against Trump. BUT IF A BETTER CANDIATE EMERGES i WOULD VOTE FOR THEM. Oops cap lock ! I am an independent and vote the issues, not the party. The way I look at Trump is something like my sgt. told me when I was in Basic Training doing my bit for Uncle Sam. I told the Sgt. I despised the CO because of how he treated animals, his pet to be specific (well I was only 17). The sgt. told me I don't have to respect or like the man, just respect the uniform for what it represents (the USA and the 'office'). It didn't cure my hate for the turd but I made it until I got orders outta' there.
Crap I didn't like the new CO either!
Btw, I was not surprised that Trump won the election, really I said he had a fair chance of winning here at RR. People in the south at least were fed up with the way our elected officials were conducting the Republics business. Not to mention who would win if Trump didn't, that would be the wildebeest (Clinton). Hell no!
