ARMAGEDDON—Not a Reason to Fear, but to Hope

World events in fulfillment of prophecy show that we are deep into the "last days," in "critical times hard to deal with." (2 Timothy 3:1-5) This means that we are nearing the Biblical "Armageddon." (Revelation 16:16)

However, the approach of Armageddon should not be a cause for fear, but for real hope! Why? Because Armageddon is God’s war to cleanse the earth of all wickedness, paving the way for a bright, prosperous new order! The Bible explains that then the righteous "will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."—Psalm 37:11.

With bad conditions forever gone, every day of life then will be a delight. Not even sickness or death will mar the happiness of people. God will "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."—Revelation 21:4............ what a wonderful hope for the future ,not as scary as some people seem to think after all

so then ,are we on the true Gods side before he steps in to the affairs of mankind , and puts all human goverments out the way so that his way of ruling can take over the earth daniel 2;44

And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite

Before [the] statute gives birth to [anything], [before the] day has passed by just like chaff, before there comes upon YOU people the burning anger of Jehovah, before there comes upon YOU the day of Jehovah’s anger, seek Jehovah, all YOU meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably YOU may be concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger........... Zephaniah 2;2-3

(2 Chronicles 36:16) But they were continually making jest at the messengers of the [true] God and despising his words and mocking at his prophets, until the rage of Jehovah came up against his people, until there was no healing.

(Jeremiah 23:20) The anger of Jehovah will not turn back until he will have carried out and until he will have made the ideas of his heart come true. In the final part of the days YOU people will give YOUR consideration to it with understanding

Armageddon is not a political skirmish, an economic disaster, a nuclear holocaust, or a human conflict. Rather, Armageddon is God’s war.

And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. revelation 16;13-16

The three unclean froglike inspired expressions come out of the mouths of the dragon (Satan the Devil), the wild beast (his earthly political setup), and the Anglo-American false prophet. These expressions inspired by demons, or wicked angels, gather the earthly kings, or rulers, to Har–Magedon. this certainly will be the war of all wars. and quess who is going to win?

On Jehovah’s side in the war of Armageddon is a vast army of invisible spirit forces led by the King Jesus Christ. The apostle John reported: "I saw the heaven opened, and, look! a white horse. And the one seated upon it is called Faithful and True, and he [Jesus] judges and carries on war in righteousness. . . . Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him. . . . And out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. He treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of God the Almighty. And upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." (Revelation 19:11-16) The sharp long sword represents Christ’s authority to order the execution of all who refuse to support God’s Kingdom. (Revelation 1:16; 2:16) Huge invisible forces are available for the war of Armageddon.

In opposition are Satan, his demon hosts, and the kings of the entire inhabited earth. But we should not think only of world rulers in the visible realm, for the people they govern are also involved. It was foretold: "Jehovah has indignation against all the nations, and rage against all their army."—Isaiah 34:2 so its not a case of watch this space, its a case of get on the right side while we still have the chance

AT
ARMAGEDDON ONLY THE WICKED WILL BE DESTROYED

ARMAGEDDON WILL NOT RUIN THE EARTH

The
Bible says: "There is a controversy that Jehovah has with the nations. He must personally put himself in judgment with all flesh. As regards the wicked ones, he must give them to the sword."—Jeremiah 25:31.

"For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth . . . As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it."—Proverbs 2:21, 22............so then all the meek ones should seek to be on Gods side

Probably YOU may be concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger ......zepheniah 2;2-3

I am so looking forward to Armaggedon , what thrilling times we are now living in, Rev. 11:18: "The nations became wrathful, and your own [Jehovah’s] wrath came, and the appointed time . . . to bring to ruin those ruining the earth
Ps. 37:34: "Hope in Jehovah and keep his way, and he will exalt you to take possession of the earth. When the wicked ones are cut off, you will see it.
John 3:16: "God . . . gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life."
Rev. 7:9, 10, 14: "I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: ‘Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.’ . . . ‘These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation. ...........bring it on i say.

The return of Christ is certainly somthing all who have rejected him should greatly fear.

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Revelations 19:11-16

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. John 3:18

yes Jesus is a faithful and true witness
(Revelation 1:5) and from Jesus Christ, "the Faithful Witness," "The firstborn from the dead," and "The Ruler of the kings of the earth." To him that loves us and that loosed us from our sins by means of his own blood
(John 1:14) So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of undeserved kindness and truth
(John 18:37) Therefore Pilate said to him: "Well, then, are you a king?" Jesus answered: "You yourself are saying that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.

You know Armageddon is a city right?

Why do you believe God chose this place for the final war?

What

is Armageddon, as referred to in the Bible?

Rev. 16:14, 16: "They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har–Magedon [Armageddon]."

Will

Armageddon be fought only in the Middle East?

Rulers

and armies of all nations will be assembled in opposition to God

Rev. 16:14: "They go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty."
Rev. 19:19: "I saw the wild beast [human political rulership as a whole] and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army."
Jer. 25:33: "Those slain by Jehovah will certainly come to be in that day from one end of the earth clear to the other end of the earth."

Use

of the name Armageddon (Har–Magedon) cannot mean that the war will be fought at a literal Mountain of Megiddo

There is no literal Mountain of Megiddo; only a mound about 70 feet (21 m) high where ruins of ancient Megiddo are found.
The kings and military forces of "the entire inhabited earth" could not fit into the literal Plain of Esdraelon, below Megiddo. The plain is triangular, only 20 miles (32 km) long and 18 miles (29 km) wide at the eastern end.—The Geography of the Bible (New York, 1957), Denis Baly, p. 148.[1]

The

name is fitting because of Megiddo’s role in history; the plain below Megiddo was the site of decisive wars

There Jehovah caused the defeat of Sisera, the chief of the Canaanite army, before Judge Barak.—Judg. 5:19, 20; 4:12-24.
Thutmose III, pharaoh of Egypt, said: "The capturing of Megiddo is the capturing of a thousand towns!"—Ancient Near Eastern Texts Relating to the Old Testament (Princeton, N.J.; 1969), edited by James Pritchard, p. 237.[2]
The reference to Megiddo (meaning "Assembly of Troops") is appropriate because Armageddon is a world situation in which the troops and other supporters of the rulers of all nations will be involved................. so it is not a litral place, remember that for the most part the book of revelation is presented in signs and symbols ,this makes me think about the place of concealment for Gods people, they are all over the world but they are in a good place , they are on Jehovahs side, that would be a good place to be, but it is not a litral place
