Right. But, the demand for petrol is down down down right now. Burning less is progress. If that continues post-virus. It's got to be a good thing.

thing to consider is commercial traffic and the fuel those modes use
ships burn bunker fuel, low grade crud and they get cm's per liter.....the motor vehicle traffic is significant, but trucks, and ships still move necessary supplies, essential resources, etc.... that traffic has always been the 'worst offender', in that context.
