Are corporations a shadow government?

I dunno. I tend to think of the diamond industry and gold/silver mined in 3rd world countries.

You think that's what produces healthy, prosperous societies? It's just not evidenced by anything statistically... Even in oil rich countries, the society suffers from poverty.

Corporations are where it's at. Where the corporations tend to flock, everyone benefits.
