Why do you have to let the bible decide for you if those things are okay? Just figure out for yourself if any of those things seem wrong to you or not. Don't let a holy book tell you what to do.

Why in the word are you asking these?

Tattoos - Bible does not actually condemn them.

Necrophilia - As far as I know no person has sex with dead bodies, in there. They raise a dead person but that is it.

Pre-marital Coitus - obviously in there.

Adultery - Obviously, - King David, etc.

Homosexuality (male) - NO - but lots of Sacred Sex.

Pornography - depends on how you look at all those rape verses, and owning of women as sex slaves, sex with Sacred Prostitutes, etc.

Sapphism, - No. But one verse is sometimes misinterpreted as such.

Sadism - many people were obviously sadistic.

Masochism - not that I know of. Perhaps John the Baptist?

Fellatio, de Sade, - nope.

Polyamory, - yep. Polyandry, - Nope. Polyfidelity - nope.

Pedophilia, - Yep!

Bisexuals - Sodomy, Bestiality, - probably - Sacred Prostitutes.

Onanism - yes - but not as masturbation. His crime was to disobey the Law to provide an heir for his brother.

Satyriasis - Doesn't say anything about it - but some men had an awful lot of wives and concubines.

Proclivity - Obviously.

Tattoos were forbidden by the Mosaic law. (Leviticus 19:28) premarital sex, homosexuality, bestiality, adultery, and by extension other immoral practices are all condemned in the Bible. (Leviticus 18) Onan, from whence the term Onanism stems, refused to father a child for his dead brother. What he did was bad in Jehovahs eyes and Jehovah put Onan to death. Masterbation is not directly mentioned in the Bible. (Genesis 38:6-10)

Actually tattoos are not forbidden.

It says not to make gashes, cuttings, engravings, for the dead. Tattoos are not any of these - nor are they for the dead

Lev19:28 And you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead; and you shall not put on yourself any brands/engravings or gashes; I am YHVH.

How can pornography be in the bible when pictures weren't even invented.

Pornography is just pictures? Seriously?

Genesis 3:11 said:
And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?"

Not "why did you disobey?"
Not "Have you eaten from the tree?"

The very first thing out of God's mouth was "Who told you that you were naked?" What can we infer about The Good Lord's priorities in this scenario?

"By their fruits ye shall know them." ~ Matthew 7:20

We have ancient displays in art, and writing, of the sex acts.

The Sacred Prostitutes were performing human sex, and bestiality.

Hi jeager106, I actually have done this already, I just wanted to know what everyone else thought about these things. Just wanted to
get some conversation going. Thank you for your response.

Isn't "polyfidelity" an oxymoron?

I think it is. So do most people.

Tom

I don't think so, at least not necessarily. It would be a group situation that excludes sexual relations outside of the group. It is not monogamy, certainly, but sexual fidelity does not necessarily imply any particular number of partners.

Hi joshua3886, because I believe in the bible as a holy book. I have already studied these topics and I was wondering
what everyone else thought? Thank you for your reply.

That's why they made naked statues.

Hi Nowhere Man, you are the first one to mention naked statues. Primarily the Greeks looked at the human body
as natural in nakedness and beautiful; so beautiful that even statutes of naked boys were made by the Greeks.
Thanks for your reply. Good Post.

Hi lngledsva, my favorite person to talk to. You made some great points in your other post's.
Byzantine, Resonance and classical art did paint the human sex acts as you stated.
When I was in college I took an art class that went through all these periods of time and what inspired this kind of art. Nowhere Man mentioned naked statutes. I mentioned the Greeks who made naked statutes of men and they thought that the naked body was so beautiful that there was even naked statutes of young boys. Sodomy was a normal practice with the Greeks and there culture. Good Post.
