Atheists strategize against book on God

Any comments about this Atheist comspiracy against this new book

"You Can Lead An Atheist To Evidence, but You Can't Make Him Think"

Why would Athiests plot such a secretive attempt to sabotage....." a book"

This story reminds me of the conspiracy the Jewish leaders did to Jesus.

Gah...

That guy seems to be under the impression that all atheists believe the world suddenly appeared out of nowhere, while in reality, many atheists simply claim to accept they don't know how things came into existance, but jumping to the conclusion of God is no better an answer than having no answer at all.

Honestly, the guy seems like a douche to me. I haven't read the book, and I won't read it, because it sounds like something I would hate, but from the article, he sounds like the kind of person who would call me stupid and assume I believe things which I don't. I also don't think he understands that evolution isn't instant. It's very slow. It's not like one generation everyone is monkeys, and 20 years later, everyone was humans...

Anyone can think I'm part of an atheist conspiracy if they want to, but I just don't like it when people stereotype entire groups of people and try to create evidence that isn't there.

I wouldn't say atheists are worried. Or that there is a concerted effort against the book. The book specifically mentions atheists in its title. So that will catch an atheists attention. Naturally he or she would disagree with the writer, tell others what drivel it is, and encourage others to review it as such.
Just so happens I agree with them. The writer uses roundabout logic and ignores scientific method to come to his conclusions, while simultaneously attacking a group who find no need in professing a belief in God.

The writers own self righteous belief that he is under attack only help the sales of the book, and I think he know that.

LOL!!!!
"I simply expose atheistic evolution for the unscientific fairy tale that it is, and I do it with common logic. I ask questions about where the female came from for each species. Every male dog, cat, horse, elephant, giraffe, fish and bird had to have coincidentally evolved with a female alongside it (over billions of years) with fully evolved compatible reproductive parts and a desire to mate, otherwise the species couldn't keep going. Evolution has no explanation for the female for every species in creation," he said."

Holy **** that is some stupid stuff there.

"I also show that the 'God' issue is moral rather than intellectual. No one needs to prove that God exists. Creation is clear evidence for any sane person that there's a Creator. But if I can convince myself that there is no God, it means I am not morally accountable, and evolution opens the door to a whole lot of sinful delicacies such as pornography, fornication, lying, theft, and of course writing bad reviews for a book I haven't read," he continued."

Please.... make it stop... The stupidity burns....

Evolution is slower than most realise, for in this eternal oscillating universe in an ever changing cosmos, it took six periods of universal activity, before mankind was finally created, and there is more evolution yet to come, "The Son of Man" that glorious light being who is created from the righteous spirits of mankind, the new Kingdom of God which will dwell on earth and gain dominion over all previous life forms, even mankind the body in which he develops, the body of mankind which was, (or should I say still is for now), the tabernacle of the Most High, for the kingdom of God is within you.

Did you try vetting the source?

WorldNetDaily has a page listing the "Scoops" they're most proud of. The headlines read like the front page of the National Enquirer.

Examples:
Wicked-pedia: The mega-website Wikipedia was found to have hundreds of graphic homosexual images, and the FBI launched an investigation into child pornography on the ubiquitous online encyclopedia
Brainwashing 101: A new plan by a California legislator proposes allowing schools to promote the overthrow of the U.S. government and to let teachers "inculcate in the mind of any pupil a preference for communism.

The "news" on that site sounds more sensationalistic than factual.

Hey! Let's all go give that news story one star! Then we can be a wacko religious conspiracy!

I was simply responding to 'whereismynotecards' posts. I have not read the book in question, but I am assuming that it will argue against evolution, and one of the arguments used by the creationists is that owing to the slow rate of evolution, it would be impossible for mankind to have evolved in one universal period of some mere 13 to 14 billion years and so I thought to put my two cents worth in, why, didn't you like it?

I guess you did'nt read the part where he found a site where atheists were actually talking amongst each other conspiring to vote 1 star on the book review site.

So it seems a slightly staged....but hey that's just me !!

First Amazon.com, then next I suspect atheists will concoct yet another epic conspiracy by engaging in flame wars on IMDB. Watch out Christian Filmmakers Society! The atheists are gonna topple the theocracy!

Ray Comfort is about as smart as a box of hammers, and WorldNetDaily is a scurrilous rag with no credibility or standards.

Well, maybe watch his recent interview with 60 min to see how intelligent he is. Have you ever been on 60 mins to share your intellect and success or written 60 books, do you have a major TV / radio program and a successful ministry reaching countless people across the globe or have you had any public exposure other then..well RF.

Ya,he must be an idiot!!
