I am in stage of planing a podcast channel and was wondering if anyone here has experience with it, and of course if you guys have idea for topics I could speak about in my podcasts when I start recording :)

Any help will be appreciated :)

Right now my equipment is just a Samsung tab and microphone. But I will upgrade this as soon as I can :)

I have no experience whatsoever with this kind of things. Once I uploaded a youtube, but that is all.
I even had to google the word podcast and give the Google-definition in case of other digibeets:D
Good luck with your podcast, and of course, let us know, when you are in the "air"

I've never made (or been tempted to make) a podcast myself so I can't help you with the technical stuff. I do listen to them fairly frequently though so I can give you a heads up on some of the common problems I encounter as a listener:

    1. Make sure you have a decent quality mic. Some of the raspy, tinny sounds you get on cheaper mics can make listening a chore.

    2. If you bring on guests, make sure you're all talking at about the same volume. This is something that can maybe be ironed out with editing software but I've had a few occasions where one person was nearly inaudible while another would hurt the eardrums.

    3. For the love of God please don't eat or drink while you're recording! There are a lot of people who can't stand the sound of eating and I'm one of them. Actually I'm more extreme in this than most as I really struggle to eat alongside other people. Over a mic though, it's unbearable.

    4. Have a rough idea of the structure you want your podcasts to take. You don't need to write a script or anything. Just a few key talking points and an approximate idea of how long you want to spend on each one.

I will add to a point given by @Erebus

Correct, you don't need a script but research what you are discussing, there is nothing worse than pregnant pauses and bumbling while attempting to think of what to say next.

I provided a little bit of content back when there was an RF podcast. Apart from what others have mentioned around microphone quality and consistent volume, I was assuming you were going to pre-record the podcast, right?
Get used to whatever editing software you're going to use. I used Audacity (Home) which is a free, open-source sound editor. Pretty decent, given the price point.

Yes I will pre record because for me that's the best solution, editing and so on :)
Actually I downloaded Audacity yesterday, and looking in to it :)

Because of the type of content I was recording, I needed to splice together a lot of smaller audio clips, sometimes amending formats as I went. It was really simple to use for that sort of stuff, and easy to edit out pauses, and breaks. I didn't play around as much with the sound options, etc.
