Anyone ever read the Prose Edda?

Thanks. I've had a few Penguin Classics over the years, which I thought were good. Having gotten burned with other books (like Osho's Diamond Sutra), I'm learning to ask for opinions before getting something.

I agree. I had a few burns with them too in the Classics area, although overall I'm content.

I'm digging in the grave here I know.
But that is the version I have and prefer of the Prose Edda.

All gods are great.
I have read a German translation of the Edda, and some of it showed that it was written by Christians. One of the major problems with our beliefs is that there was a sudden break in our traditions.
