The Maha Mrityunjaya mantra usually translates as "We hail the fragrant three-eyed Lord who nourishes all and increases the sweet fullness of life. As the cucumber is released from the vine may we also be released from death, not for immortality, but liberation". But who knows... a lot of translators take great artistic license.
