And as I said. Morality and Ethics don't come from the Gods.

    They come from the Heart.

That is where all True Wisdom lies within Man.

Agreed. These smash and grab gangs seem to be highly organized, coordinated, and planned in advance.
I suppose one might use the word "Mob" here in the sense it is used to refer to Organized Crime, with each instance being referred to as a "Heist."

I agree it is in man and his heart.

The only difference we have, is that I see the motivation of the heart has a source. Those choices are not self based choices.

January 6th was what I understand as a "mob".

I'm not sure what you think is a "godless manner", but I doubt many folks deliberately choose to do that behavior for the purpose of being "godless". Arguably you and me might be equally godless because we don't pray to Allah 5 times a day, or take the Eucharist. Everyone is going to be condemned by theists according to their own rules one way or another. Just can't win.

    They certainly have a source.

One can win, choose justice, honesty, trustworthiness and truthfulness, with faith or no faith.

You're really going to need to explain your theory here. Us godless might take offence at some point.

Compare rates of religion with witch burnings last year. It's not a secular country that's headlining the list, never mind a godless one.

Great, so God is irrelevant, and "godless" meaningless. Be humanist.

My comment was meant to underline the conspicuously partisan implication of talking about California as if it were a special case with regard to looting.

Addressing issues like this often takes a back seat to political agendas if finger-pointing replaces focus on the causes of the issues in question.

I have explained godless describes the lack of Honesty, trustworthiness, truthfulness, basically lack of all virtues and morality.

I have offered both believers and non believers suffer from various levels of this affliction. The affliction is born from self.

So It is just one word to describe all that.

    Regards Tony

Yup. You have. However I can fairly be described as Godless, as can any atheist. I cannot be fairly described as having a lack of honesty, trustworthiness, truthfulness or lacking in virtues. I get that you might belief that is God working through me, despite me not believing there is a God. But I'd suggest finding a way of describing this belief that doesn't equate a simple and accurate description of my lack of belief with a shopping list of negative traits.

Whilst I know you well enough to know you're not meaning it as an insult, it's kinda insulting.

    It's a poor word choice.

To you it may be. What other word you may use humanistless?

Well...to any atheist, I would imagine.

The main word I'd use would be picked up by language filters...lol.

What I wouldn't do is use a word that seems to describe a large body of innocent bystanders. Someone is selfish. Not 'godless'. Or greedy. Or narcissistic. Or violent. If they're all of those things they're pretty much a sewer of a human being...so I'd prefer not to have them described by a term that has often been used to describe me. One that could describe my kids.

I do understand what you mean with your original point, and get why you have stated it the way you have. I'm just asking you to take a second and think what that looks like to an atheist (who may or may not be a good person). Or, to give a more personal example, my kids.

While not alone, CA has been much in the news lately.
The thread is about mobs looting. Do you object to
having a thread on this topic?
    Whuh?

Spoken like a true enabler. Got any other deflections, or is that the only one?
