Another difference between liberals, libertarians, and conservatives

Reason, and reason again
Heard this on another forum. Comment as you'd like.

A conservative looks at the world and says, "There's been better times."
A liberal looks at the world and says, "There will be better times."
A libertarian looks at the world and says, "Nothing changes."

Eh? I'm a sort of libertarian I suppose, but I'd really have to disagree with this. I see the world changing around me all the time. There have been some better times and there have been worse times, and the same applies to what will come in the future. Everything is changing.

I don't get that. I don't see why a libertarian would say that.
