American Atheists, one of the most combative organizations dedicated to the promotion of secularism, has terminated its highly visible president, David Silverman, over allegations of financial and sexual misconduct.

Silverman, through his lawyer, denied the accusations.

I agree. This is good news, aside from the underlying witch-hunt that is prevalent currently, but at least it shows people are taking allegations more seriously.

In spite of what is preached in church by very clueless individuals empirical proof points to indeed they do have moral character. Personally I have never any other kinds of atheists. All extremely nice close minded people like most church folks.

All organizations have some "bad actors", and that may include some in leadership positions. It's what happens next that may count the most.
