When asked if they considered the Islamic legal and moral code of sharia to be more important than the French Republic’s laws, 29 percent of respondents answered “yes.”

I don't know what to make of this. The headline (which I've used as the title) is not the same as the question but the idea that Sharia is more important than French law is worrying.

The lad wasn't lynched. He was tossed off a roof then beaten to death.
