Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA Offers Condolences to Vice President Joe Biden
Community prays for Vice President Biden’s family following tragedy

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is heavy hearted at the passing of Joseph Robinette “Beau” Biden (46), son of Vice President Joe Biden. We offer our prayers and sincere condolences to Vice President Biden and his entire family.

"We pray God continues to strengthen Vice President Biden through this immensely difficult time,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Senior Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, “and while we mourn, we remind ourselves of the prayer of Prophet Muhammad and the Qur’an that indeed, from God we are and to God must we return.”

We thank Beau for his military service to our country and for the legal services he provided to secure the rights of others. May God grant him peace.

About Ahmadiyya Muslim Community:
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, reformist and fast-growing international movement within Islam. Founded in 1889, the Community spans 206 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is among the oldest American-Muslim organizations. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. The Community believes that God sent Ahmad, like Jesus, to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and reinstitute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad’s advent has brought about
an unprecedented era of Islamic revival and moderation. He divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings. ###

When you take it upon yourself to speak for an entire religious group you could, at the very least, refrain from:

  1. Posting a spam link (reported, by the way)
  2. Taking the opportunity to bombard people with your sales pitch regarding your particular sect.
You know, for the sake of decency.

I posted it as goodwill, keeping in mind, these are times when certain people of some religions considers certain countries as their ill-wishers.
Thus it was a goodwill gesture, not for publicity, two good people have liked it.
Sorry if you disliked.

Every time when Ahmadiyya Muslim have to say something, we have to tell people that we are the peaceful ones (the reformers), because of what is happening in certain lands.

Good wishes.

Peace be upon you as well.

I responded as such because your post looked like so much self-aggrandising. Indeed; your post consists more of information about your religious sect than commemorating the death of Biden's son. I didn't do so because I'm conflating you with other more prone-to-violence sects of Islam such as Wahabbism or Salafism, or because of any prejudice I have against the Ahmadi community (I have none). If the OP had been made by a member of any religious group and the post had been advertising their group/sect to the same extent I would still have brought it up.
