AddressToLadies-Based on Ahmadiyya Khalifah’s Address to Ladies’ Section-Jalsa Salana Australia'13

DawudTalut

Peace be upon you.
Peace be on you..Allah commands believers to exercise Taqwa and also to keep eye on tomorrow. [Ref: Surah Al Hashr]. Taqwa is something, which, if established in hearts, helps to do virtues. Once Promised Messiah (a.s.) was writing some verses about the subject of Taqwa, he was revealed the second line of a verse as ‘If this root is survived all is survived.’

The whole couplet:
‘Each virtue’s root is this ‘to avoid’ [1]
‘If this root is survived all is survived.’

[1] = The word is ‘Itteqaa’ meaning to avoid sins, to be careful.

The tie of marriage of man and woman is the start of new life. The occasion is very important whether they are worldly, religious, religion-less or atheist.

Those who practice Islam, their marriage is different than worldly people. People who follow so-called freedom are making strange laws. On the name of freedom, intimate relations before marriage are not considered wrong. Islamic teaching prohibits such friendships, relations under the guise of having understandings.

Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) guided; There are four bases to marry woman; wealth, family, beauty, or Din. One should prefer woman with Din. [Din is comprehensive word]

Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) choose Holy Quran’s verses, which are recited at the beginning of Nikah, with 5 times mention of word Taqwa / righteousness. It emphasize that the new and important link is for pious progeny and to seek pleasure of Allah.

Majority of worldly people look for earthly desires. Some may go after individual aspects like wealth, family, beauty but mostly they do not seek Din.

Surely Islam asks to look for ‘kofo-w’ i.e. ‘like-one’ in matrimonial search but here again Taqwa should be first priority.

To make strong marriages, the above matters should be observed. Aspects of Din should be the priority. What does God want? What kind of deeds He expects? What does Holy Quran requires? If done so, new relations and new generations will be on solid bases.

To avoid increasing cracks in relations, believers must not copy those people who are away from religion. There is limit to freedom. Islam does not permit wild freedom. Ahmadiyya Muslim must check the boundaries. If young men and women make Taqwa as their base, then there shall be revolution in persons, families and Jama'at.

“And let (every) soul look to what it sends forth for the morrow…..” [59:19]….Check for good knot of marriage is made which should train new generation nicely, not making them earthly people…and…. Next generation should be such that it pray for parents’ exaltation……Their mothers are the ones, paradise is under their feet. Their children excel in virtues, act upon Holy Quran and get best reward in Hereafter.

Fashions are permitted but within morality.

Seeking righteous man and woman for marriage will be two way process. Parents will give righteousness highest priority in training. It is not enough to utter pledge that we shall give precedence to faith over worldly matters. If All Powerful Allah is believed , then there must be actions. Watch for tomorrow, good deeds will be needed in Hereafter. Each believer should self check that their deeds are for Allah or world?

In recent Friday sermon, a long Hadith was mentioned which explains which kind of deeds are not liked by Allah, and how they are not accepted even though seemingly they were fine. Human can deceive people but not Allah. Man and woman should not seek their rights by jugglery of tongue [ if there is dispute].

Ahmadiyya Community should remember that they have believed in Imam of the Age -- appointed by Allah; reformer of the time; follower-Prophet as prophesied by Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) – who educate to bring human closer to God and guides to the paths of Taqwa / righteousness. If they do not realize their responsibility and follow the glitter of the world, then what do they earn after being persecuted and listened name-calling? In that case they shall be counted among those who are away from virtues. There are many who are given permission to live in Australia because they have had suffered in their country. Now they can freely practice their religion, they should be thankful to God by giving precedence to their faith over worldly matters, by seeking pleasure of Allah and by not sinking in the ocean of worldliness. In Friday sermon, caring words of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) were stated, he also said that his followers should not bring ill-name to him…It is essential that Community should self check. Muslim Television Ahmadiyya MTAi (mta.tv) carries these words to everyone.

Some young couples end their marriage very soon, saying they have lack of understanding. Ahmadiyya Community should avoid these thoughts.

Holy Quran has many commandments. It enables one to walk of path of Taqwa. There is no commandment, that is inferior to other. Male or female believer are required to practice it. They should offer Salaat and other worship with attention.

Those people who watch immoral films through internet etc, their thoughts become unclean. The maker of these films themselves are admitting that these are bad for children, that is why they ask these should not be shown to children or talk about ‘parental lock’.

Dress affects morals too. Dress should properly cover the body without igniting sensuality. According to climate etc, woman can wear jeans but then they should wear long shirt upto knees. There are reports some women comes to meet Khalifah in full covering dress but in common life they do not care much under the influence of common society….Deeds should be for God…Majority is pious by the Grace of Allah. But the minority which is not practicing faith can be dangerous.

People of Ahmadiyya Jama'at should self-check how much they give precedence to faith over worldly matter? How much they exercise Taqwa for having protection of Allah ? They should study teachings. The Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) says: Truly, for righteous, there are big promises. More than that, Allah becomes Friend of righteous.

To have Allah as Friend, one has to exercise righteousness. There are people in Jama'at who has relation with Allah. Allah listens to them, fulfill their needs and bless them. The purpose of coming of Promised Messiah (a.s.) is to connect servant with Allah. Everyone should strive for that. They have bring spiritual revolution in the society wherever they live.

Allah is guiding people to the Ahmadiyya Jama'at. Women and girls are being directly guided. Here are some narrates:

1=Lady for Tunis
She belonged to Sufi sect. She was pious, not of earthly nature. One day, she was changing channels of TV and she found MTAi. She liked it but some people said they are infidel. She prayed. Her son saw the Ahmadiyya Arabic pious scholar ‘Mustafa Sadiq’ in dream. [Mustafa Sadiq: these words means Chosen, the truthful]…..She accepted Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).

2=Lady from Egypt
She found MTAi channel. She saw program of Mustafa Sadiq. She viewed ‘hawarul mubaashir’. She used to wait second coming of Hazrat Esa (a.s.) but she then she understood explanations of Ahmadiyya Jama'at. It was difficult to understand that a Prophet could come after Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) and that God still talks……Prior to accepting Promised Messiah, in 2003, she saw dream that a bright window in the sky. A voice said: I am your Rabb [Lord]. In dream, she fell in prostration and prayed: “There is no God but You, Holy are You. Your are Pure, I have indeed been of the wrongdoers.” …..I was happy that God speaks, she wrote……Next day she saw dream that a man is floating in sky and a projectile goes from his head to the sky and sky is illumined. He said he is Messiah…..When she woke up, she asked people about its meaning of her dream. People said: Allah do not speak and seeing Messiah means wisdom and pious children…………Latter when the lady watched MTAi , TV she found the Messiah of the dream was Ahmadiyya Promised Messiah. She accepted him.

3=Lady from Algeria
She offered ‘istikhara’ Salaat to find the truth about Promised Messiah. She was told “This is Imam Mahdi”…….Now she wants to study Holy Quran and Commentary / Tafseer by Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).

4=Lady from Yemen.
Her late father was a religious scholar. He had told her that signs of coming of Imam Mahdi had been fulfilled. If he (a.s.) appears after him, accept him (a.s.). She asked the father how he would appear? He said ‘By Television’. After the death of her father, one day she was changing TV channels, she found MTA, she was very happy…She offered ‘Istikhar’ Salaat to seek guidance from Allah. She was guided and she and her mother accepted Promised Messiah (on whom be peace).

5=Lady from Tanzania
An elderly lady saw photo of Promised Messiah at a wall calendar in an Ahmadiyya Muslim teacher. She said she had seen this person in her dream already. She did Bai'at.

Allah is guiding people not only in Europe, they are being guided in Africa, Asia and everywhere. Worldly life is not everything, pleasure of Allah is to be sought by all and their progeny.
