Who is praising? All i am saying is judge him on his presidency. May be good, may be bad, as yet it is unknown.
Let's set aside that word.
But claims are made about the improving image of Ameristan
(because Biden is such an improvement, I suspect). He needs
to be viewed with a jaundiced eye.

People have different ways of judging others.
I look primarily at what pols effect in government
& the country. Both Trump & Biden have their
good & bad points by my measure.

Don't you know, when it comes to any particular US President, you can either uncritically love them for everything they do, or hate them with the passion of a thousand suns. It is not possible to have any other kind of opinion.

Canadian here.
I lost respect for the US when Trump was elected.
When I woke up after US election day and a friend told me Trump had won, I honestly thought he was joking, until I checked the news.

Trump's victory really hit a lot of people out of left field, and not just "liberals" or "leftists".

but mostly it's the same

The grass isn't always as green as it looks over there.
And we'd miss you.
(Gardeners are the most valued citizens.)

Thank you for your kind words. I think Ireland (where I'm eligible for citizenship) has internet service, so I could still visit RF.
No, the grass isn't always greener. But sometimes change is good.
I would miss being a volunteer master gardener, but I'm guessing there is something comparable over there--or if not, maybe I could lobby for it.

The grass is literally greener in the Emerald Isle though.

Ah, clairvoyance is good eh?

Yes inflation can be either positive or negative. It seems that on the world stage americas economy is on the rise so it should bee seen as good thing.

And $6 per gallon is cheap compared to Europe

Whats with the socialism ****?
And I see the inflation is going up just as I said.
Perhaps you dont know the effects of high inflation since the american people were blessed in a country where 6% was last seen in 1982 I think.
Dont be too comfortable, it will come to bite you soon.
I read an article over the weekend that discusses the 3 trillion debt of Biden. It will end up at almost 6 trillionin cost.

Now, any sound thinking economist will know that such an economic policy will end up in a disaster for the US workers.
And the propaganda by the Dem leaders and Leftist media can try to make such inflation sound as a blessing, but such an attempt is only a display of total ignorance.
3% inflation is a good thing.
6.8% such as the US is experiencing is a huge error.
and it will rise to above 8% which is a catastrophe.

Please explain how even the 6.8% is a good thing.
As for fuel prices, why do you think comparing US prices with some other bad cost somehow is the answer to this expensive comodity?
Why dont you compare your current fuel prices with the prices you paid under the Trump administration.
Also, it is now determined that the US fuel prices might reach $8 by June next year.
I think Joe Biden will skelter and open some pipelines to get the cost down by Oct for the elections.

Anyhow.
last week I said economists forcasted that iNFLATION MIGHT RISE TO 8% IN 2022 1ST QUARTER, AND OVER THE WEEKEND, we saw it was materialising much quicker than anticipated.
6.8%...
It is bad guys. And the Dem leades are not done yet!

Dont talk to me about influence, first im British second we went through the **** pile the us caused in the last worldwide depression and lost thousands of £££

A debt he mostly inhereted, a debt of $26 trillion.

It seems in economics inflation can be good for a country.

When the economy is not running at capacity, meaning there is unused labor or resources, inflation theoretically helps increase production. More dollars translates to more spending, which equates to more aggregated demand. More demand, in turn, triggers more production to meet that demand.

British economist John Maynard Keynes believed that some inflation was necessary to prevent the Paradox of Thrift. Which says, if consumer prices are allowed to fall consistently because the country is becoming too productive, consumers learn to hold off their purchases to wait for a better deal. The net effect of this paradox is to reduce aggregate demand, leading to less production, layoffs, and a faltering economy.2

Inflation also makes it easier on debtors, who repay their loans with money that is less valuable than the money they borrowed. This encourages borrowing and lending, which again increases spending on all levels. Perhaps most important to the Federal Reserve is that the U.S. government is the largest debtor in the world, and inflation helps soften the blow of its massive debt

Nice if one wants to make claims, and ignores for convenience that which dont suits you.

Lets see, Biden first of all stopped Fracking in the southern states, exploration in the Mexican gulf, Alaskan and Canadian oil supply.

The reason is because he thinks alternative sustainable ennergy can take over from oil.
Well, whoever his advisor is, that person must have some businuss with mega companies who produces Lithhium, Hydrogen cells, solar pannels, wind turbines etc.
Mostly China.

What the Dem leaders dont know, or are ignoring for some reason, is that the ennergy density on the above, except for Hydrogen cells, is verry poor.
It will take another 100 years to get alternative ennergy to be as productive as oil, gas and coal.
In the meantime, China and India are laughing at Biden's policies, and Russia is getting way rich on their oil exports to Germany.

Biden created an oil shortage in the West, and I am paying R20.25 per litre of petrol. It is now 20% of my budget. In the Trump era, the USA was self sufficient on oil, and there was an oversupply with oil prices on average $40 per brent vat. Now we see $75!
This increases inflation in South Africa, and I am paying through my neck for basic comodities.

If you think Biden's policies is not of any concern to you, I am sure you are a very rich person who does not work for a salary, or you are a hermit living in the mountains somewhere as a hunter gatherer.

perhaps you do not understand that the USA, China and Russia has a huge impace on everyone when their economies flourish or suffer.
But, To the Rich Democrat Burocracy and you it wont matter
