This is a discussion about Absolute Certainty.

First I will give what I see are Absolute Certainty.

100% Certain of God - Unknowable.
100% God sends Messengers.
100% Certain those Messengers are all we can know of God.
100% Certain that if you believe in one of those Messengers, one has found a source of Truth.
100% Certain that we are in true form, we are Spirit.
100% Certain that creation is a Relative Certainty.
100% Certain that all people have this knowledge within.
100% Certain, that we will mess up that Certainty.

Well that is a good start.

What about you, what are your Absolute Certainties?

Do your Certainties find any agreement in Mine?

Do you think we can have Absolute Certainty?

Regards Tony

I'm convinced that it's foolish to declare much of anything to be certain.

I'm convinced that it's foolish to declare much of anything to be certain..

The tag of fool makes me alive, there is a poem about this love and the fool, an ode of Rúmí’s

I am lost, O Love, possessed and dazed,
Love’s fool am I, in all the earth.
They call me first among the crazed,
Though I once came first for wit and worth.

O Love, who sellest me this wine,
O Love, for whom I burn and bleed,
Love, for whom I cry and pine—
Thou the Piper, I the reed.

If Thou wishest me to live,
Through me blow Thy holy breath.
The touch of Jesus Thou wilt give
To me, who’ve lain an age in death.

Thou, both End and Origin,
Thou without and Thou within—
From every eye Thou hidest well,
And yet in every eye dost dwell.

To add a perspective on that important question, asking about certainty is often only relevant with respect to how it informs behavior or tangible actions.

If an organism is certain enough of something that it behaves in this way instead of that other way, the degree of certainty doesn't strike me as important. I know that I do not find it useful to split hairs about the topic. What does it matter how certain I am about the gods? On the whole, polytheists like myself really don't care how certain you are when it comes to "believing in" the gods. We care about your behavior - do you practice devotion to the gods or not?

I've heard that when God-Realized/Self-Realized saints have their full experience there is certainty.
I know a Master who was known for telling "Love my uncertainty"
Does this mean He was uncertain, or we should love His unpredictability or both?

Then I see that answers your other post;

What does it mean to be certain?

To me Absolute Certainty would be manifested in our thoughts, deeds and action.

To me the meaning to have Absolute Certainty that God exists, while with Absolute Certainty I can not know God (in essence), is by relative certainty that the recognition of God, is recognition of the Attributes from God.

Thus I am certain. if I look I will find all people will in some way reflect one, two or many of those attributes. I am not in need to see God by Names and Titles, but I see that is part of relative certainty. If it was not, I would have no foundation to be Absolute Certain about anything.

My foundation of Absolute Certainty is the Source of Attributes, The Manifestations.

Absolute Certainty, I see starts in this world as the journey of self discovery, a journey I am absolute certain, does not end with this life.

I tried to avoid being trapped by absolutes.
