A suggestion

A one-on-one debate format is a good feature for a site like this, but fisking (the practice of quoting and responding to a post piecemeal) and possibly even the quoting function entirely, should not be allowed for this section of the site. Doing away with quotes would make the debates exponentially more readable and easy to follow.

I'll bring this up with the staff to see if something like this is possible, enaidealukal. Regardless of what occurs on this front, however, might I make a suggestion? Since one-on-one debates occur between two posters, if they want a debate to follow that format they can agree to not use that kind of piecemeal quoting before they begin.
