A spiritual/religious teacher is not.

A spiritual or religious teacher is not there to indoctrinate you with his or her own opinion. But is there to guide you on your own search for the answers you looking for to awake to whatever you seeking.

Having a spiritual teacher/guide does not mean you are his or her slave. But you know they have gone the same path before you, so you choose to follow them, A true teacher will accept it the same moment you deside that you no longer wish to be his or her student, A false teacher will do everything to keep you within their grasp.

The teacher is there to push the right "buttons" within you so you, your self slowly awaken to the teaching and you see the hidden wisdom, but you do not see it in the text it self, you see it from within your own being. It awakens you.

Being a human being is like being in a state of dreaming, for those who have chosen to seek awakening from the "pleasure" of life will have to "die" from within to become awaken with God present as their own inner being.

Why are we so "afraid" of letting go?
Are we afraid of seeking because we may not find what we " want" to find?

"There are more fake gurus and false teachers in this world than the number of stars in the visible universe. Don’t confuse power-driven, self-centered people with true mentors. A genuine spiritual master will not direct your attention to himself or herself and will not expect absolute obedience or utter admiration from you, but instead will help you to appreciate and admire your inner self. True mentors are as transparent as glass. They let the light of G-d pass through them." Shams of Tabriz

"A true leader does not seek followers, he wants to teach others how to be leaders. He does not want control, he wants the truth. He does not impose his leadership on others, nor does he take away anyone's autonomy. He inspires by love, not coercion. When it comes time to take credit, he makes himself invisible; but he is the first to arrive at the time of need, and he will never shrink away in fear. He is so passionate about your welfare that when you consult him for guidance, it is like coming face to face with yourself for the first time." Rebbe Menachem M Schneerson (Lubavitcher Rebbe)

I found truth without any middle men. Had I listened to them I would have been deprived of the truth. Mortal man has only a finite limited understanding which errs. The Prophets and Their Holy Books are perfect and possess infinite knowledge.

Can we ever say we have exhausted the meanings of the Quran and Holy Books of God that we must turn to men for guidance?

How many billions turn to the Pope and by thus doing so are deprived of the truth of Muhammad and the Quran? Just how safe is it to turn to men who would turn us away from God’s Messengers?

The spiritual teacher is not there to give you the full truth :) only to guide you so you do not get lost, the hard work is something we must do our self.
So it me having a spiritual teacher/guide has helped me 100% and i do not regreat it, if i was to go the sufi path fully alone it would take the rest of my life to get to where i am now :)

Yes but you ask a Christian priest if Muhammad is true or a Mulla about Baha’u’llah and mostly you will find they are turning people away from the truth not towards it.

That is why Baha’u’llah abolished priesthood and said we each have been given a mind to see truth with our own eyes and not through the eyes of others.

Personally i found it to be a bit different :) Speaking to priests or Imams you will find both those who are open to different beliefs and those who can not accept any other religions then the one they represent and believe in. It does not give me the right to tell them they are wrong :) But i could and have asked them to explain why they believe what they do about other religions and their prophets :)

In some countries we are killed, imprisoned and refused recognition as citizens because of the orders of the clergy. There are rare good clergy but we have been persecuted for 175 years now by order of the clergy. Playing God and destroying life is why Baha’u’llah abolished priesthood.

That is a good question :)

Two options i can think of is. Either i have the same teacher until he can not guide me anymore. or option two is if it start to feel wrong. then i might leave to seek more alone again.

That is of course a very bad thing to go through, and i do not support harming anyone from any belief.
Since i have read a bit of what Baha`u`llah has written i found a lot of it to be good, and actually very similar to much of the teaching with sufism.
