I want to give thanks for my existence, nothing too ritualistic, just a gesture of gratitude, something that can be performed anywhere without too much fuss.

May I join you and expand to include people around us. Just thanking God for the gifts that are in each person. Nothing too ritualistic, just a gesture of gratitude.

I give thanks to by family of each generation in spirit. I give thanks for that I may know them to know who I am and through them and (trying) through my living family what makes me me. I feel we can give, live, and feel gratitude in itself without attribution or belief having a source. Just say thank you. That's all.

Why should i tell you? :)
If I am two-in-one you know the answer. It is a Leela of gratitude.

The question that comes before this one, though, is "Who is thankful or thanking?"

Charity. Pick a cause, find an organization which works towards that cause. Set up a small monthly auto donation.
