A second recount for georgia

These are very disturbing times, I agree, but I think he will get frogmarched out of the White House when the day comes. Perhaps by Milley personally, who knows. That would be worth watching.
I still want to see Pelosi throw him out of the White House, just like in Fresh Prince of Bel Air when Uncle Phil throws Jazz out.:D

I'm wondering if Trump would need a military coup, though.

Trump seems to already have a firm hold on the Justice Dept. and the Dept. of Homeland Security. That might be enough, provided that the military stays out of everything.

... but my worry with Milley isn't so much about him participating in a coup as in him green-lighting the use of troops against the protests that will probably happen between now and January 20.

Sure, but his actions now are going to be motivated by what he thinks is true, not what is actually true.

I also think Trump will be evicted in January. The question for me is how many people will die between now and when Biden takes office.
Ah I see. That's a fair point. From his stance to date I think it would take quite a lot before Milley will let the troops get involved, but Trump could stir up some trouble on the streets, I suppose, once he's exhausted his legal avenues.

Don't be fooled by fake news media. Here is real live footage of Trump upon hearing the results in Georgia and demanding another recount.

Just a thought: perhaps the reason for continuing to pursue Georgia's electoral votes is to keep Georgia Trump supporters engaged for the senatorial run-offs in that state.

There's also another reason: these recount campaigns are making him a lot of money:

Where Trump’s recount fundraising dollars are really going

He's using his call for a recount as a fundraising ploy, but the vast majority of the money he's collecting is going to pay off his own campaign debt and to general revenue for the RNC; very little is actually going to a fund for recounts and legal challenges.

As soon as concedes, this flow of money stops.

If it weren't for him shuffling appointees around in Washington, I would probably assume that this is all about the money for him. Maybe it is.

That's interesting, so his followers are being scammed.

I'm confused. The left had their temper tantrum, that lasted four years?
"Four years" = Trump. "The left" = ....Bernie?

Did Hillary rant and scream for four years that Trump really didn't win the election? Nope.

Your boy-child is a narcissist who cannot comprehend the idea of losing. Which is kind of funny since he lost multiple lawsuits long before becoming president. (Does Trump university ring any bells?)

He's trying to buy time, and keep the election from being called, officially. I suppose in hopes that he'll find some way of changing the outcome.

The only reason that he will keep on protesting is that 75% of his base believe the election was rigged. He can keep playing that card for the next four years while raking in millions in contributions.

That is probably part of it.

OTOH it will (hopefully) keep GA Dems equally riled up.

Right.

... but it isn't new. He's been fleecing his sheep all along; this is just the most recent tactic.
It makes me wonder how they can still believe all this after his very long and well established history of being a con who bankrupts a casino and and gets sued over a total sham of a "university."

It's probably going to be more specifically in the hands of black voters there than the Dems in general. Again the Black Belt has shown they can swing elections, and it appears to be crucial for the Dems winning in the South.

I would say as long as the left had their temper tantrum that lasted a full 4 years.
What? The temper tantrum is coming from the right for this election. Trump lost, get over it. Just as four years ago Hillary lost. Were you chiding people on the left four years ago? If so your behavior is rather hypocritical here to say the least.

Not my boy-child. I think you have me confused with a Republican.
