Hi, joined this group to maybe discuss religion and learn from others. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints and like to learn more about other people's faiths too. I created a blog to think aloud (https://discussionofreligion.blogspot.com) but I don't know if it will be something I can keep up with.

This page seems to be full of changing adds and my computer seems to make funny things, which make the experience a little bit unpleasant. But hoping to be able to get some ideas of what I can learn here anyway.

BTW, you can find a "safe place" for yourself, by clicking on "FORUMS" in the top line menu:

Then scroll down to "DISCUSS INDIVIDUAL RELIGIONS" and click on "CHRISTIANITY DIR"

When you're there, click on "RESTORATIONISTS DIR":

When there, you'll see this:

Then, click on "LATTER-DAY SAINTS DIR" where you can either read existing threads or start a new thread. Forum exchanges in a DIR are subject to politer/more civil posting rules and constrained to questions and sharing information.

They are just as crazy as you its all good. I include atheists in that but that upsets them! Thats why i include them. They hate hugs. I hug by saying "i sau are destined for heaven, be good or you will be in the creationist room for an eternity."they get very upset with that view. A fate worse than an eternal lake of fire for them. This is why they deny heaven, because of that possibilty.

I'm not sure where you are getting the ads. I have no ads on my pages at this site. I do have an ad blocker, though. I use Brave browser which blocks a lot.

There are many viewpoints here. So, you should find some interesting things here.

@faithbeliefandhope and/or you can scroll all the way down the page. To your left, you should see either "Default" or "Religious forums Ul.X" If your screen has the colored icon, click to the default. What I did was make my screen a bit bigger cause of my eyes. The only ads I get are at the very top. You can press the little right side X button. The bigger screen kind of pushes the ads out the way too.

That or you can pay for a subscription and it gets rid of all the ads.

Hope you are flame-proof and patient. People on all sides get kind of snarky in here sometimes. Just realize some have been posting about religious topics for years and have seen and answered most all questions many times by now. There hasn't been anything new in apologetics for a long time.
