A Loving God? (Christians)

Why was I made, was it not better for me never to have been born and not know the evil under the son? (Ecc. 4:3) Why was I put upon the Earth if all is vanity and striving after the wind? (Ecc. 1:14) No one can tell me if the soul of man is going up or to dust (Ecc. 3:21)

Why would a loving God put me through all of this?

To make you strong, loving, compassionate and to give you the opportunity to grow and know what pain is all about so that you can help others with the situations you have already faced and will face.

My kids ask me why I put them through a few things too... they'll thank me when they're older though (just like I now thank my parents)

As Idea pointed out: To teach mankind a painful but valuable lesson. And for every single human being, He gave the breath of life, to have an opportunity to become a part of His eternal family. Hang in there, it will all be over soon.
