Has anyone else read this book? Of all the books I have read in my life time, I would suggest that "A Light in August" is the first place winner of innovative fiction. I have read this book four times and I am able to gleam facts that I have missed. The book is impressionistic and when reading it creates a haunting atmosphere . It is like eating a sweet delicious apple. The stream of consciousness is like a voice talking to you. The book is most certainly surrealistic. Highly recommend before you die!
