A few thoughts on the cosmology of Vishnavism

What do you think of the following book? It is contains an important portion of the Bhagavata Purana:

I have great respect for Penguin books. That is from where I learnt about ancient history and belief of many people. I think they should not have published Wendy Doniger's book.

Yes, that is my understanding as well. Vishnu is the primary creator; without him, there would be no planets, stars, galaxies, or Brahma. It is with the guidance of Narayana that Brahma creates and Shiva destroys.

The mahadbrahma spoken of here is the prakriti made up of three gunas from whence of even the prajapati brahma emanates.
