Life is change and change is life
Every husband needs a wife
Some people get quite annoyed
By staring into the secret void
Does this life have any meaning?
To which conclusion are you leaning?
I guess this poem makes no sense
Unless it's viewed in the past tense
Once upon a time a man started to go insane
Because of all the thoughts in his crazy, little brain
I like to examine the contents of my mind
I am often quite surprised by what I find
Five percent of nothing is never quite enough
Without a sense of humour life can seem quite tough
Count your blessings every day and you will be satisfied
Once upon a time a good idea simply died
This poem needs work because it is not funny
I wonder what will happen to all the world's money
Can you contemplate a candle or a rabbit?
Thinking negatively can become a real bad habit
Many people would really love to enjoy their lives
But they're no sure what to do when the moment arrives
I love to a wandering alone along the beach
Sometimes I find inspiration in a nice, ripe peach
I guess a decent poem doesn't really need to rhyme
I hope you all are having a jolly happy time
Sometimes in life it's good to stop and enjoy a laugh
God is a comedian - just take a look at a giraffe
There is so much more that's yet to come
Some of it is completely dumb
You'll have to be a patient soul
Because I'm really on a roll
