A Black Buddha

What do you think of a black buddha as the symbol of someone who reached self-deification/apotheosis?

I put one on my altar and it makes me feel on one side very relaxed and safe; on the other maybe it's too "yin" and makes me feel lazy. Maybe I'll have to find something "yang" to balance it. I'm considering a red dragon.
