Social Liberal, which sounds about right based on what that means in terms of this quiz.
Seems to be more a small government liberalism, rather than a big brother variant. I'll leave the communism to you, Frankie...!

I have no idea how I got that result since I put "strongly agree" on the questions about maintaining tradition and instilling religious values. I guess that's just the most radical result the test makers could think of.

I'm not sure why the designer decided to call it an "8values" test when it is not much about values and everything about political ideology. My top values aren't on their metrics.

But at least it got the politics right, I guess. Democratic socialism, whatever that is.

It's like being a dirty pinko, but allowing people the illusion of voting.
Ahem.

I apologize to any dirty pinkos out there. I'm just joking.

Maybe they thought your approach to instilling religious values was similar to Mao's?

(like...you WILL worship his almighty greatness, the Mao. You will forsake all other dictators before him. That kinda thing.)

Wishing I would have posted my detail results now. On the societal axis it said I am Revolutionary (very, very low percentage on tradition).

By "values" it wasn't referring to morals or virtures.
The 8 values it refers to are equality, markets, nation, world, liberty, authority, tradition, and progress. What you scored on these is how they determined the matching political ideology.

To those of you who (like me) are Social Liberals, I am thinking we should form a cadre and take over. Purely in the interests of making sure everything is fair for everyone. Especially us.

Who's in?

Ideological matching is a work in progress, and is much less accurate than the values and axes.

For some reason, I've never really seen Mao as a big defender of tradition. Wonder why that is....

Still, if the quiz wasn't right, it wouldn't be on the internet. I must have been brainwashed by the propaganda of the reactionary capitalist pigs.
