Are UN membership and US constitutional absolute independence (truly and sincerely speaking) compatible?

The US has been part of many international organizations and voluntarily accepts the implications of membership for a long long time. The UN is no different.
We are free to refuse to agree to UN initiatives, withdraw our membership or cancel various treaties if asked to do something which violates our Constitution.
3. ... They shall be concluded between the Security Council and Members or between the Security Council and groups of Members and shall be subject to ratification by the signatory states in accordance with their respective constitutional processes.”
