No Biden voters on the forum, huh?

I really, really love what I've heard about Andrew Yang and his policies.

I did see Bernie as a better man than Biden, a bit less torn. I still do, but I have some questions in my mind, that probably will never get answered because I want to hear them straight from the horse's mouth.

There are reasons why I, as a male, am skeptical Elizabeth Warren can represent my views well. But I don't feel the same skepticism about Tulsi Gabbard.

yah, she is really interesting in a few ways. It's easy to like Tulsi.
...maybe give her about 8 years, and then if she's still for it, it would be interesting to see how she is then.

Gabbart would make a good VP choice for Sanders. Female, minority and a life insurance.

I like her, but...I'm guessing that to a small, but still significant slice of voters, she may seem a little too...much like an unknown. What would she do? It could feel risky to them, to a slice of swing voters. That will change with time and more years, and if she runs again.

I think part of why Biden worked with Obama for some slice of swing voters was because Biden felt like the old familiar, and that made it feel safer to risk voting for Obama. It's a part of the reason I feel like Klobuchar or even Biden could be a good VP pick. A portion of the voters want that feeling of the safe centrist backup, or influence. Me, I think Klobuchar could be a good influence, because of the down to Earth quality. 'salt of the earth' thing.

Sanders can't help that he's an old white guy and his fans know that that isn't what he stands for but I guess he'd like to also show that to the low information voters. So female and/or minority would be a good pick for VP. And he has also to be careful with his life insurance. Klobuchard and Biden don't fit that bill.

Biden. He has and will always be my first choice.

IMO, he has the best chance of winning as compared to the others. I also see him as more experienced and closer to my own views.

Second choice: Mayor Pete.

Please only respond or answer the poll if you intend to vote in the 2020 Democratic caucus or primary for your state.

If the election were today, which Democratic candidate would you vote for? Why?

Personally I'm leaning toward Warren. I voted for Bernie in 2016 and still like him on the issues but I find Warren to be more articulate and persuasive.

* Apologies that I couldn't include every candidate, I added as many choices as I was allowed. I included the candidates who have the highest RealClearPolitics polling averages.

I like Bernie, but I think we need a more moderate candidate to woo disaffected Trump voters.

Bernie is the one that can woo disaffected Trump voters. People voted for Trump because he was not the usual, slimy, established politician. Trump was different. Bernie is different. Biden is just the same old.

Disaffected Trump voters are generally still small government fiscally and would have a problem with a Democratic Socialist. It's unfortunate, and I think the majority will get there soon enough, but right now we don't have that kind of environment.
