20 February: Prophecy of Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) Fulfilled in this Era: Musleh Mo'ud Day

Hazrat Khalifatul Messiah V (may Allah help him with His Might Help) said:

“20 February is recognized as the day of the Prophecy of Musleh Maud in Jama'at Ahmadiyya Community. Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) was granted news about the birth of a son who would be servant of Deen [Islam, religion], live long, and carry numerous other qualities.”

He (a.t.) mentioned the words of Hazrat Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) who said about the importance of this prophecy:

“It is not just a prophecy but it is a magnificent heavenly sign which God – The Karim Who has High Grandeur - manifested for truth and magnificence of our Karim Prophet, Rauf and Rahim, Muhammad Mustafa (peace and blessings of Allah be on him). And in fact this sign is hundreds of time superior, ahead, perfect, better and complete than to make a dead alive. The reality of making dead alive is that By praying in the Divine Presence, a soul is brought back; objectors have many doubts about it’s proof. But in this case -- by the grace and benevolence of Allah the Exalted and due to the blessing of Hazrat Khatamul Anbiya (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) -- God The Karim, by accepting the prayer of this humble, promised to send such a blessed soul whose external and internal blessings, will spread on all earth. Thus although, this sign apparently seems equal to revival of dead, but by pondering it will be known this sign is hundreds of time better that revival of dead. The soul of dead come back by prayer, and here too, a soul is brought by prayer, but there is [as like] distance of millions of miles between this soul and those souls. “

1=Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) prophesied that his servant the Promised Messiah Mahdi (on whom be peace) would marry and have children………People do marry and have children, but this specific mention had special meanings in it.

2= In 1882, Allah the Exalted revealed to the Reformer [The Promised Messiah Mahdi (a.s.)] about his appointment. Still command was not given to take Bai'at [pledge of allegiance] and to make Jama'at…..He had been doing spiritual struggles to explain that God in Islam is Alive and Islam is an alive religion.

3=People of other religions around his area asked him to show sign as they had first right to see such signs…..He was already planning for special prayers. He prayed to Allah and he was directed to go to a near place for fulfillment of his objective, where he prayed in seclusion for forty days. He was honored the converse with Allah and received many future news and granted many spiritual understandings.

4=One granted prophecy was about a son for him which was going to serve Islam in very special way………The long prophecy was published in 1886.

5=The son was born in 1889 [the same year when his father initiated Jama'at under Divine decree]. In Jama'at Ahmadiyya, he is known as Musleh (reformer) Mo'ud (promised)..... As the second Khalifah of Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.), he lead the Jama'at from 1914 to 1965 by the grace of Allah the Exalted. He was revealed and taught by Allah the Exalted. He developed almost all major systems in Ahmadiyya Jama'at which took the message of true Islam as explained by Hazrat Promised Messiah (a.s.) to reach the corners of the earth while keeping the internal progress of Jama'at. …..He was embodiment of a prophecy of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him).
