14 Characteristics of Fascism

I think the list speaks for itself.

Yeah. Describing fascist governments.

A couple currently-existing governments have some of these characteristics, but I don't know of any besides North Korea that has all of them. (And even then, I'm not 100% sure.)

Many of those aren't the original definition of Fascism but the "Association". Fascism as a concept is basically Syndicalism (Almost all the initial Fascists were Syndicalists) and Corporate-Government cronyism, very closely related to Keyensianism. #9 touches upon the idea.

For example, Solyndra....

Most of those are applicable to ANY government especially including Socialist regimes.

Really?
Cause... I couldn't find a single one of these that apply to Norway, Denmark or Sweden.
All of which are socialist 'regimes'. :sarcastic

And, as a side note, I'd rather any of them be the "rulers" of the world, from what I've heard about them.

And of course the USSR, China, Vietnam, and North Korea don't apply either. Or Zimbabwe.

I wouldn't be so quick to call Denmark and Sweden and Norway the same kind of "Socialist" as well. Social Democrat maybe.

Give me a reason why I should give two hours of my time to watch a movie I know virtually nothing about. Which country is it talking about?

Reason #1 If you watch this movie,(and believe me, it is very good, reason #2), you will know about it. As for the two and a half hours, you let me know if it was worth it. I thought it was and wanted to share it with you and others.

You can't just give me a summary?

I was assured that Citizen Kane was the best movie ever made, and I found it EXTREMELY boring.

Sorry Riverwolf, that wouldn't be fair for those who want to watch it. I hope you'll come back and tell me you like the movie. If not, my apologies.

There are, of course, many facets of socialism, which was rather my point; that the statement I replied to was somewhat of a broad brush.
Social Democracy, which is one term for the type of society prevalent in Norway, Denmark and Sweden, has very little to do with communism, despite what certain Republicans would like us to believe... ;)
