That Golden Rule was the message of Confucius, Zoroaster, Budha, Isocrates, Epicurus, Seneca the Younger, Leviticus9:18, etc. It did not and does not exclude the Ordinances and statutes given to the Israel (Ezekiel 37:24), which will eventually be reinstated unto the combined tribes of Judah...

The Gemara answers: This verse does not contradict the principle. On the day of the dedication of the Tabernacle, a calamity also befell the people, as Nadav and Avihu died.

In looking at Sefaria's Talmud Megillah 10b there are counter examples where vayhi does not imply distress:
Megillah 10b:8
After citing several verses where vayhi portends grief, the Gemara mentions a number of verses that seem to indicate otherwise. But isn’t it written: “And it came to pass...

We do know Adam heard God's voice speaking to Adam.
Because angels spoke for God is why God is given the credit such as at Leviticus9:6.
( remember too men penned the Bible but God is given the credit as its Author - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 )
Moses and Aaron saw God's glory - Exodus...

I find Psalms 90:2 agrees with you that God is neither born nor dies ( God is from and to everlasting ).
Since No person can see God and live (John 1:18) and people saw Jesus and lived, thus Jesus is Not Got.
So which one is correct then, please?

The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring[c] I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him.
And the LORD appeared to him [Isaac] the same night and said, “I am the God of Abraham your father; fear not, for I am with you and will bless you...

I don't see in any of those passages anyone "falling under the power".
Notice your words... "we are using a terminology (in English) to try to express what happens:"
You are using your terminology to express what you believe happened.
That's completly different to this is what the Bible says...
Deuteronomy, which you quoted on the last page, is also a book of the Torah.
Is there a particular reason why, as a Christian, you allow your behavior to be guided by one part of the Torah, but not the other?
Sorry, Mark. Typo. That should be Leviticus 19, not 9.
I should proofread more carefully.
The Torah is included in the Christian Bible. In most Christian Bibles Leviticus is between the books of Genesis and Numbers.

I am an atheist because I am sick and tired of people pretending they are speaking for God when in reality it is just selfishly motivated or thoughts of sociopaths idolized in scripture.
For example, the killing of infants is often omitted from readings in church:
“Happy is he who repays you...
The Bible was translated by men. What the Bible was translated from has been lost or altered. We have no way to know what Jesus originally said.
What I do know, or what is my opinion, is what Jesus is saying in the Bible is not enough to get someone crucified. I think Jesus was probably...
I should have qualified my statement as rituals where you sacrifice a goat. I just do not like animal sacrifices. How we treat animals is one step away from how we treat each other.

I'd hardly say the criminal was offering himself as a sacrifice. This just isn't the same thing at all. One individual cannot pay for the sins of another. There still has to be repentance. No where does Torah specify that a human sacrifice, which is essentially what Jesus is supposed to have...
