Here's where I am today, in my thinking about the Trinity. :grinning:
I'm thinking that God Himself is telling us that worshipping Jesus and the Holy Spirit is not violating His command against worshipping other gods, but He is not telling us how that can be true, because there isn't any way...

THAT ANSWERS THAT
Jesus came for the downcast, downtrodden and sinners.
Only the meek shall inherit the Kingdom of God.
Sure, your can imagine yourself to be one the elect of God, but at the end of the day God chooses.
Perhaps as one of the elect you can use your special knowledge to interpret the following...
Be always humble, gentle, and patient. Show your love by being tolerant with one another.
(Ephesians4:2)
Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace.
(Proverbs 15:18)
Ephesians4:2-3 (YLT)
2 with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love,
3 being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of the peace;
I think the issue here is that they're interpreting "love" in a different way than you (or probably I) would interpret it. Just because someone comes to a different conclusion than you do doesn't mean that they're "cherry-picking".
How about these?.....

Ephesians4:2 and carry on this conversation "with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love." All in favor?
Paul was addressing Christians here.
*edit*
Hold up here, everyone cool our jets. This bickering, back-and-forth judging is getting out of hand, even for my liking. And I've been in some pretty coarse, rough-and-tumble conversations. How about we all agree to take a hint from Ephesians4:2 and carry on this conversation "with all...
Tom, Jesus may care for all the churches even when they are not in agreement, or unity, but the bible still says unity, in liked mindedness in the Christians beliefs. Here are a couple verses on this.
1 Corinthians 1:10
10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that...
