    I'm Pregnant

Aww thank you all! You really made me smile. It's nice for people to be actually congratulatory. I'm sure some of my family will be all, "What the heck...didn't you just HAVE a baby? Aren't you done yet??" Grr. If they feel that way about number 3, just wait till they hear about lucky...

    Ash Wednesday and Lent

From what I read on EWTN that is just more of a voluntary thing. Pennance is good...extra pennance can be even better...but too much pennance and my husband is going to be a very unhappy man! I do feel sorry for people who don't understand the value of pennance though. I just glanced at...

Do Public Schools Turn Out Stupid Students?

In my experience, people who truly WANT to homeschool are usually pretty good at it. Like one of my friends told me she can teach her child in 2 hours what she'd learn at 8 hours in school because the teacher to student ratio is 30 times better. LOL.

    Ash Wednesday and Lent

No way! You mean the whole thing? Isn't lent like 40 days long...? They totally did not teach us that in RCIA.

Do Public Schools Turn Out Stupid Students?

Yes, my FIL teaches at a very good public school, too. But most public schools are extremely sub par. It depends a lot on the area, but even then. I have a lot of friends who homeschool full-time, and yeah, I agree social interaction can be a challenge, but that's why there are so many...

Messages and Teachings of Mary, Revealed to Six Vissionaries in Medjugorje, Bosnia, 1981 - Present

My husband and I are reading a couple of books about Medjugorje and I personally believe in it. I have not seen anything wicked or out of keeping with the faith in it yet. A lot of good has come from it, people converting, being baptised, recieving confession, etc. If it is Satan's work, it...

Do Public Schools Turn Out Stupid Students?

I was publicly skewled. LOL. I think there is a huge difference between schools. Some are good, but most of them are pretty bad. That is my experience. I am homeschooling my daughter right now. She can almost read already at 3. I know lots of people who were homeschooled and graduated...

    Ash Wednesday and Lent

Yay! I've been looking for this kind of information. We got a calendar from the church so when I saw the fridays marked with "abstinence" I was like woo-hoo...the church is making us be abstinent today! But my husband was like, no, it's abstinence from meat. I thought I was actually gonna...

    Has Anybody Seen...

Yep, I'm very proud of her. She has kind of a bad attitude though at times... And I kid you not, she did that all by herself. I certainly didn't pose her!
